Οι περισσότεροι άνθρωποι και οι περισσότεροι Ελληνες κυρίως, γιατί αυτό μας αφορά αμεσότερα, έχουμε μεγαλώσει μέσα σε μια κουλτούρα,
οπου προσταζει να βρουμε μια καλή θέση στο δημόσιο να εξασφαλιστούμε και να τακτοποιηθουμε, η κοινωνία της ελλάδας οπως και κάθε άλλη συντηρητική κοινωνία,
προωθούσε εως τώρα τον μύθο της στασιμότητας, το οτι υπάρχει δηλαδή μια κατάσταση, όπου μπορεί κανείς να αράξει να χαλαρώσει, και να κάνει μια άνετη έυκολη ζωη.

Η Συμφωνία τού Λονδίνου, 27/2/1953 Και μετά απ' όλα αυτά, έρχονται σήμερα η Μέρκελ με τον Σόιμπλε να μας πουλήσουν τσαμπουκά... Βρε ουστ!

Αν ανήκετε σ' εκείνους που δεν καταλαβαίνουν τι διάβολο συνέβη και η κατεστραμμένη από δυο παγκόσμιους πολέμους Γερμανία κατάφερε κι έγινε οικονομική υπερδύναμη, προφανώς δεν έχετε ακούσει για την Συμφωνία του Λονδίνου, η οποία υπεγράφη στις 27 Φεβρουαρίου 1953. Κι επειδή δεν βλάφτει να μαθαίνουμε λίγη Ιστορία (ίσα-ίσα!), ας ρίξουμε μια ματιά σ' αυτή την συμφωνία.

Όλα άρχισαν τον Οκτώβριο του 1950. Η ανησυχία των "δυτικών συμμάχων" (ΗΠΑ, Αγγλία, Γαλλία) για την ισχυροποίηση της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης εντεινόταν όλο και περισσότερο, καθώς έβλεπαν τις χώρες της ανατολικής Ευρώπης να προδένονται στο σοβιετικό άρμα η μία μετά την άλλη. Έτσι, άρχισαν να εξετάζουν την περίπτωση επανισχυροποίησης της Γερμανίας, η οποία θα έπαιζε τον ρόλο τού αναχώματος σε περίπτωση που ο Στάλιν αποφάσιζε να εξαπλωθεί δυτικώτερα.

Πρώτο βήμα ήταν η συγκρότηση μιας τετραμερούς επιτροπής (με την συμμετοχή και της Γερμανίας), η οποία θα καθόριζε το ακριβές ύψος του γερμανικού χρέους. Τον Ιούνιο του 1951, η επιτροπή ολοκλήρωσε το έργο της, προσδιορίζοντας το προπολεμικό χρέος τής Γερμανίας σε 22,6 δισ. μάρκα και το μεταπολεμικό σε 16,2 δισ., ήτοι συνολικά 38,8 δισ. μάρκα. Αυτά τα τεράστια ποσά σαφώς και δεν μπορούσαν να αποπληρωθούν και, μάλιστα, με τους τόκους να τρέχουν. Οπότε, έπρεπε να διευθετηθούν.

Η διευθέτηση του εν λόγω χρέους έγινε το 1953 στο Λονδίνο, κατά την σύσκεψη η οποία κατέληξε στην συμφωνία τής 27ης Φεβρουαρίου. Εκεί, "οι τρεις χώρες δηλώνουν πεπεισμένες ότι η γερμανική ομοσπονδιακή κυβέρνηση συμμερίζεται την θέση τους και η αποκατάσταση της γερμανικής πίστωσης υπόκειται σε κατάλληλη διευθέτηση του γερμανικού χρέους, η οποία εξασφαλίζει σε όλους τους συμμετέχοντες μια δίκαιη διαπραγμάτευση, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τα οικονομικά προβλήματα της Γερμανίας". Ποιά ήταν η "κατάλληλη διευθέτηση του γερμανικού χρέους"; Το κούρεμά του "με την ψιλή"! Η επιτροπή προσδιόρισε την προπολεμική οφειλή τής Γερμανίας σε 7,5 δισ. μάρκα και την μεταπολεμική σε 7 δισ., ήτοι συνολικά σε 14,5 δισ μάρκα, ποσό που αντιστοιχούσε μόλις στο 37,4% του αρχικά προσδιορισθέντος.

Όσο κι αν αυτή η μεγάλη έκπτωση είναι κάτι παραπάνω από σημαντική, οι υπόλοιποι όροι τής συμφωνίας θεωρούνται ακόμη σπουδαιότεροι για την κατεστραμμένη γερμανική οικονομία. Μια απλή αναφορά τους καθιστά σαφές ότι η όλη συμφωνία έγινε υπό το πρίσμα πως η Γερμανία θα έπρεπε να αποπληρώνει τα χρέη της δίχως να κάνει παραχωρήσεις στο επίπεδο ανάπτυξης και βελτίωσης των συνθηκών διαβίωσης του πληθυσμού της. Δηλαδή, η συνθήκη εξασφάλιζε ότι η Γερμανία θα ξεπλήρωνε τα χρέη της δίχως να φτωχαίνει. Ιδού μερικοί ενδεικτικοί όροι τής συμφωνίας:

(α) Οι πληρωμές των χρεών θα γίνονταν είτε σε σκληρό νόμισμα είτε σε γερμανικό μάρκο, κατ' επιλογή του οφειλέτη. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι ένα μεγάλο κομμάτι τού χρέους θα μπορούσε να πληρωθεί με φρεσκοτυπωμένο από την γερμανική κεντρική τράπεζα χρήμα. Στην πράξη, η Γερμανία πλήρωσε σχεδόν το σύνολο της οφειλής της με μάρκα.

(β) Οι πιστώτριες χώρες συμφώνησαν να μειώσουν τις εξαγωγές τους προς την Γερμανία, ενισχύοντας παράλληλα τις γερμανικές βιομηχανίες ώστε να παράγουν τα αντίστοιχα προϊόντα. Με τον τρόπο αυτό, οι πιστωτές αποδέχτηκαν την κατά 66% μείωση των εξαγωγών τους προς την Γερμανία, συμβάλλοντας αποφασιστικά στην μετατροπή τού εμπορικού ισοζυγίου της χώρας από αρνητικό σε θετικό. Σημειωτέον ότι στις πιστώτριες χώρες που αποδέχτηκαν αυτόν τον όρο συμπεριλαμβάνονται Βέλγιο, Ολλανδία Σουηδία και Ελβετία, οι οποίες συμμετείχαν στην σύσκεψη.

(γ) Για να βοηθήσουν περισσότερο την ανάπτυξή της, οι πιστώτριες χώρες έδωσαν στην Γερμανία την δυνατότητα να παράγει προϊόντα όχι μόνο για τηυν ικανοποίηση των εγχώριων αναγκών της αλλά και για εξαγωγή. Ουσιαστικά, δηλαδή, της παραχώρησαν ένα κομμάτι από την δική τους διεθνή πίττα.

Επί πλέον, οι πιστώτριες χώρες δεσμεύτηκαν ότι δεν θα είναι ιδιαίτερα αυστηρές σχετικά με την συνέπεια των γερμανών στις πληρωμές τους: "Η ικανότητα της Γερμανίας να πληρώσει τις δημόσιες και ιδιωτικές οφειλές της, δεν σημαίνει μόνο την ικανότητα να πραγματοποιεί τακτικές πληρωμές σε γερμανικά μάρκα χωρίς πληθωριστικές συνέπειες, αλλά επίσης ότι η οικονομία της χώρας μπορεί να ανταποκριθεί στις υποχρεώσεις της, με βάση το τρέχον ισοζύγιο πληρωμών της. Ο υπολογισμός τής ικανότητας αποπληρωμής τής Γερμανίας απαιτεί να αντιμετωπιστούν μερικά προβλήματα όπως (α) η μελλοντική παραγωγική ικανότητα της Γερμανίας, ιδίως όσον αφορά την παραγωγική ικανότητα των εξαγωγών της, καθώς και η ικανότητα υποκατάστασης των εισαγωγών, (β) η δυνατότητα της πώλησης των γερμανικών προϊόντων στο εξωτερικό, (γ) οι μελλοντικές πιθανές εμπορικές συνθήκες και (δ) τα οικονομικά μέτρα που θα απαιτηθούν για την διασφάλιση πλεονάσματος από τις εξαγωγές". Δηλαδή, ούτε λίγο ούτε πολύ, οι πιστωτές αποδέχτηκαν ότι ο οφειλέτης τους θα μπορεί να πληρώνει όποτε ευκολύνεται και αν τον βολεύει!

Κι αν όλα αυτά φαντάζουν απίστευτα, δείτε και το...απιστευτότερο: "Σε περίπτωση διαφορών με τους πιστωτές, σε γενικές γραμμές, αρμόδια θα είναι τα γερμανικά δικαστήρια. Ρητά αναφέρεται ότι, σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις, τα γερμανικά δικαστήρια μπορούν να αρνηθούν την εκτέλεση απόφασης ενός αλλοδαπού δικαστηρίου ή αρχής διαιτησίας, ιδίως όταν η εκτέλεση της απόφασης αντιτίθεται προς τη δημόσια τάξη"(!!). Θυμίζω εδώ ότι, αν η Ελλάδα αθετήσει οποιονδήποτε όρο των μνημονίων που έχει υπογράψει, θα συρθεί σε βρεττανικό δικαστήριο, σύμφωνα με τους όρους που έχουμε αποδεχτεί και συνυπογράψει.

Σαντιγύ στην παραπάνω τούρτα ήταν η μείωση των επιτοκίων των γερμανικών οφειλών σε επίπεδα από 0% (!!!) μέχρι το πολύ 5% και κερασάκι οι δωρεές των ΗΠΑ προς την Γερμανία (1,17 δισ. δολλάρια από το σχέδιο Μάρσαλ και 200 εκατ. δολλάρια από την USAID).

Και μετά απ' όλα αυτά, έρχονται σήμερα η Μέρκελ με τον Σόιμπλε να μας πουλήσουν τσαμπουκά... Βρε ουστ!

Around the holidays, pet-boarders fill up quickly, meaning you can probably charge more.

   Consider day labor. There are employment agencies that specialize in this type of arrangement, and you can get paid at the end of the workday. The jobs you find through an agency can vary, but are usually in construction, factories, offices, and manufacturing. An alternative to finding day labor is to go where other day laborers meet (usually street corners or parking lots) and wait for employers (building contractors, landscapers, home owners and small business owners).

   • Check your local newspaper or internet classifieds to find quick labor gigs, like painting, mowing, or moving work. Amazon Mechanical Turk is reliable and has lots of postings, but the pay tends to be low.
   • Consider whether or not to go through an agency. If you go the non-agency route, you might get paid in cash – but keep in mind that less formal arrangements could result in you're not getting paid or, worse, getting injured without any kind of compensation.
   • Don't be shy about doing odd jobs. Lawn-mowing, babysitting, hedge-trimming, dog-walking, house-sitting, and de-cluttering can all serve as quick ways of getting cash.

   • Cyberbegging is becoming increasingly popular, and there have been some amazing success stories, but these are the exception rather than the rule. While there are some sites on which you can beg just by putting up a brief ad, if you're looking to make any substantial money you'll probably have to build your own site and invest the time and money into it to make it successful. Moreover, cyberbegging really annoys some people and you may get bad social media feedback.
   • Be sure that panhandling or begging is permissible where you live.

   Sell things you no longer need. Dig out that old guitar you never play, those CDs you don't listen to anymore, or your antique toy collection. Go to the pawnshop, put an ad on local internet classifieds, or hold a yard sale in front of your house or on a busy street corner (just display the item with a big sign announcing the ridiculously low price). Price items at half of what somebody would be able to buy them for anywhere else, and you may be able to sell them within an hour or two.
   

   • If you don’t want to part with your CDs or DVDs, burn yourself copies (or even just back them up in digital format on your computer) and then sell the originals. Do not sell the copies!
   • Consider whether or not to sell items online at auction websites like eBay, or more generalist sites like Amazon. If you do, choose a fast end time for the auction or trade, or choose "buy it now" to encourage a swift turnaround. However, if you want cash in your hands quickly, you might want to arrange a sale with someone locally.

   Sell crafts. If you're a dab hand at making something quickly that people want, do so and sell it either online (sites like Etsy are great for handmade goodies) or at local craft fairs or other community-based sales.

   • Flip web domains. Research keywords, topics, or industries that are trending, buy relevant domain names, and sell them to interested parties. Watch for businesses that open up in your area, snag that domain name before they do, and offer to sell it to them (for a reasonable price – or you’ll risk sabotaging the deal and ending up with nothing). People who get good at this can actually make a nice income from it – or occasionally strike it rich by buying a name out from underneath a big player.
   • Flip thrift-store, yard-sale, and police-auction purchases. Even if you don’t know the first thing about jewelry or antiques, sometimes being the first one to show up is all it takes to find a steal.
   • Flip wholesale items. If you can get a deal on wholesale items (especially if you know or are willing to make friends with a wholesaler), selling them individually online – even for only a few dollars more apiece – can really add up.

   Open a lemonade stand. Especially if you're a kid, a lemonade stand or baked goods stand can bring in good money in one day. If the lemonade isn't selling, or you want to diversify, sell cookies and brownies as well.
